Apal Bible Dedication Trip: July 9 – August 15, 2023

I’m still fundraising! Your contribution will help me assist with the Bible dedication for the Apal people (a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!!) and “finish my time” in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

I know I mentioned before that there are people I look forward to reconnecting with on this trip – there are so many that I love – but I don’t have snaps of all of them!

Below are photos of many of them. I don’t know if God will lead me back to Papua New Guinea one day, or if this will be the last time I see them until heaven. It’s not up to me. Saying our “goodbyes” will be bittersweet.

**Our sweet jungle guides one Sunday as we trekked to church**

Those of you who have followed me from the beginning of the Baby JJ Ministry know this is my sweet little ClydeyBoy – my only living “original baby.” This was when we took him a bike for his birthday. It was so precious. He kept dozing while people were pushing him around on it – he would wake up and want them to keep pushing him!

This eel was freshly caught one day when Joni and I were going home from the office. This is just about a block from our homes. I pulled up (with it on her side) and she kept saying, “not too close … not too close!” It was hilarious (for me)!! Can you imagine? They offered it to us for dinner. We declined…
